PatchAlert

Terms of Service

Draft starting point — not a substitute for proper legal advice. Have a solicitor review this before relying on it, especially once real money is changing hands.

What this service is

PatchAlert emails you a digest of new UK planning applications matching a postcode, radius, and trade type you choose. All application data is public record, sourced via the UK PlanIt API and published by local councils. We don't guarantee completeness or accuracy of that underlying data, and we aren't affiliated with any council or planning authority.

No guarantee of coverage or timing

Coverage depends on our data source and how quickly individual councils publish. We can't guarantee every relevant application will be included, or that it will appear the moment it's submitted or decided.

Pricing

PatchAlert offers a free trial during early access. You can choose to upgrade to a paid Basic or Pro plan at any time for additional features — see our Pricing page for current plans and prices. If we change how the free trial works, existing subscribers will be told in advance.

Acceptable use

Don't use PatchAlert, or the planning application data it surfaces, to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully target any individual. This service is intended to help tradespeople identify legitimate work opportunities from public information — nothing more.

Liability

PatchAlert is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We aren't liable for decisions made based on alerts we send, including missed, delayed, or inaccurate information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
